Interesting. I sincerely believe this inspired the movie My Best Friend's Girl! And for that I have to recommend you watch it.

A decent romcom; not great, but it certainly has its moments. David Boreanaz is charming, and Alana de la Garza is fun to watch. The movie seems to have a hard time deciding just how goofy it wants to be, and alternates between realistic & screwball comedy. Worth a view if you're a fan of Boreanaz or just want to watch something cute.
