A rather good murder mystery is spoiled by the addition of a comedy duo of amateur sleuths. There is also a lack of the atmosphere found in the previous Moto's. This all makes sense though once you learn this was originally going to be a Charlie Chan before they brought in Lorre instead. A misstep in the series.
