Summary: When the hillside village of Sasthapuram is haunted by a man-eating leopard, at Fr. Panangodan's (Thilakan) & local mogul Philopose's (Jagannatha Varma) behest, Varunni (Mammootty), a hunter is summoned. A reprehensible character, Varunni starts to steal & fornicate with local women, soon becoming the bane of the village. However, after a local boy Thomas (Mahesh) die by his hands by mistake, Varunni becomes repentant. After confessing to Fr. Panangodan, he begins supporting Thomas's family. (by iceblox)
