Summary: Mukundan K. Kartha (Mohanlal) lives in a small colony where there's a water shortage problem. His job has been made permanent, and he is secretly in love with this neighbor Menon's (Thikkurisi Sukumaran Nair) daughter Sumithra (Renjini). When things start to look good for Mukundan, his old college classmate Viswanath (Sreenivasan) visits him after many years. Viswanath is a con artist, who, unknown to Mukundan, takes advantage of him and the other colony dwellers, and lands Mukundan in trouble. (by iceblox)
