This is the ultimate Muppet movie with some brilliant characters.

It's the Muppets. It's Treasure Island. It's awesome.

Another childhood favorite that I watched so much I've doubtless broken the tape for it, Muppet Treasure Island doesn't hold up as well as some of the other Muppet movies but it's still a lot of fun with a great story.

"Muppet Treasure Island" is a real feel-good treat, every second of the film is colored beautifully with catchy songs, great one-liners, and hilarious gags. "Dead Tom's dead. Long John shot him!" It doesn't get any better than that, all right maybe it does, but it still puzzles me that so many people don't like this movie.

My favorite Muppet movie. What really puts it over the top, though, is the incredible work Hans Zimmer did with the score. Tim Curry also does an excellent job, er, Muppet-ing it up with the best of them, in honestly one of my favorite portrayals of Long John Silver. Surprisingly dark at times, this deserves much more of a following than it has.

Not the best Muppet outing, but has a nostalgic value to it that keeps it afloat.

unlike some of the other muppet movies this one fails to provide much to anyone wanting something more than a movie for kids. it's hard to say it's thaaat bad since the majority of the population these days have had something in the way of the muppets to grow up with. watch it for nostalgia alone, but don't expect anything else.

Love me some Treasure Island. I mean just look how boss Kermit looks as a pirate.

Not as good as I remembered it. Not great pacing or jokes, and Gonzo is not the person to build around here.

Typical Muppets. It's not the same without Jim Henson, but it's still wittier than most of the stuff out there.
