Fairly bad, but bring back memories and I love Peter Sellers.

It just kept getting progressively worse until the end, which was just an incredibly stupid reveal that makes no sense. Sellers and Falk are good but the rest of the cast, especially the nurse and Jessica Marbles, are awful. It starts out well with a good premise but by the end you realize you just wasted 95 minutes of your life. Skip it.

Pretty entertaining, mildly clever, and funny.

A mostly stellar cast can't save this movie from bad writing, exaggerated cliches, and lazy construction. Peter Sellers and Alec Guinness are the highlights, but what's the deal with Capote?

Great cast and brilliant set-up gets pulled down by a somewhat sloppy execution, but not so much that the silliness isn't enjoyable. "The last time that I trusted a dame was in Paris in 1940. She said she was going out to get a bottle of wine. Two hours later, the Germans marched into France."

The two Peters put on performances that must be seen. One of my all-time favorite comedies.

It has its moments, but I felt like it was sometimes too self-aware, and some gags continue past the punch line, effectively ruining the gag. The one that comes to mind is Peter Falk's character saying something like "I think you're #2." A decent enough double entendre gag... But it's immediately ruined by another character saying "What does that mean?" and a third character saying "I'll tell you later. It's horrible." The script could have used some tightening in several areas like that.

Pretty funny, great cast, but kind of campy and beats some jokes to death.

Despite there being a few stereotypes in this movie It is still enjoyable. There are many funny scenes and jokes and if you are a mystery fan you should enjoy this send up.

I enjoyed this a lot. A great cast cast running around pretending to be classic detective characters and doing a funny job at it. I just wish the ending was better.

Quirky, queer and downright funny. Impressive cast manage to keep just the right side of farce and send up just about every murder mystery that has been written. Some truly imaginative visual humour and particularly good performances by John Guilgood and Nancy Walker this is a great adult pantomime of murder.

Fun. Pretty stupid, but that's to be expected.

Tremendously unfunny trainwreck. I can't stand Eileen Brennan in anything she does.

A silly, silly movie, almost silly to the nth degree, but it's fun.
