Summary: Dileep Kumar (Mukesh) gets transferred to the remote hamlet of Mutharam Kunnu as the Post Master of the local post office & falls in love with Ammu (Lizy), the daughter of Kochukuttan Pillai (Nedumudi), a local bigwig obsessed with wrestling. Determined to only marry off his daughter to a strong wrestler & seeing that Dileep doesn't fit the bill, Kochukuttan Pillai challenges Dileep to wrestle a person he nominates as an opponent & summons his friend & famous wrestler Dara Singh, for this task.
