Pretty brutal and ugly psychosexual thriller, lifted by a compelling performance by Joner.

'David Lynch-esque' in style, it is a dark, brooding tale of passion, as raw as meat and as brutal as a sledgehammer. Where it loses steam is the second act, when the movie turns slightly predictable, particularly to the ardent fans of this genre. They might even anticipate the twist in first few finutes flat, but not the twisted climax Noboer has in store as it's trump card. It is a highly recommended watch: For the apalling sex scene, and for the sheer dementedness of the closing shot.

A disappointment from Sletaune, really enjoyed Budbringeren. It's decent, but I expected more.

Disturbingly terrible. Weak story, a revolting sex-scene and a "twist" at the end which you see coming half-way through the film. The way the movie was shot is at times annoying and took me out of it. The acting is, however, pretty decent.

This movie effortlessly prooves that you really don't need millions of dollars to put together a film that keeps you on your toes. Well written, well played, another great low budget nordic movie. Really enjoyed it.

I didn't expect anything from this (as I tend not to with Norwegian movies; I don't have much faith in them), but this is great. It can be either insanely disturbing or insanely hilarious, depending on what you want it to be. I chose to laugh my way through it and was left content and happy, but could easily have chosen to let myself freak out by it.
