Summary: Dasan (Mohanlal) and Vijayan (Sreenivasan) are employed as ill-paid peons. After they lose their jobs and then fail in a business venture, they decide to escape to Dubai, which is often the favored haven of Kerala's unemployed youth. They seek the services of a shady boatman, Gafoorkka, who promises to take them there. Dasan and Vijan gets offloaded not in Dubai, but in Chennai. What follows is how they struggle to earn a living, while battling their ever-present misfortunes. (by iceblox)
