Summary: Ex-smuggler & businessman Ananthan (Madhu) gets arrested in a politically motivated move by business rivals Chekkudi brothers, Mathew (Devan) & Cherian (Murali). Ananthan's son Arjun (Mohanlal), who was studying & romancing in Bangalore, returns to Kerala to take reins of Ananthan's business empire & to release Ananthan, but is repeatedly harassed by Chekkudi brothers & their coterie. Finally, when Ananthan is shot dead by the Chekkudi brothers, Arjun snaps & seeks revenge in his own terms. (by iceblox)
