"Nancy Drew is almost charming when she's out snooping in the boonies, but she doesn't make a whole lot of sense nosing around Hollywood wearing Bree Van De Kamp's hand-me-downs." - Ed Gonzalez

Nothing wrong with Emma Roberts and it would probably entertain 10 year old girls. Can't see anyone outside that demographic enjoying it however.

Mistakes - When Nancy drew is talking to the guy about the records for adopted children the cake she gave him keeps appearing and disappearing off the napkin as the shot changes.

If you have kids, especially for those of you with daughters, definitely take them to see this. Nancy Drew is a great role model, she makes it cool to be smart and dress modestly. I'd say most all kids will probably really like this movie, it never has a dull moment (thankfully for anyone that's graduated middle school, nor is it all over the place), and the mystery is actually not all that easy to solve in your head. For the adults, you'll enjoy it, but you won't love it.

Kind of goofy, but at least there were some moments in it.

Holy shit, I have to say Emma Roberts is HOT (much hotter than her auntie ever was). Nancy Drew the movie is NOT. I guess it's fun for young girls, but since I don't like to think in terms of target audiences, and find the idea that cheap Hollywood crap is good for kids condescending and wrong, I'll give this a 30.

I am not a little girl anymore, but as sometimes I remember being one and can find amusement in a crappy but cute kid flick. I also read many Nancy Drew books. So I got out my grain of salt and watched this movie. It's bad, even for it's genre, it's insulting to kids, and insulting to the series, and Emma Roberts does make a respectable role model but she really can't act
