Summary: Jayakanthan aka Jayan (Kunchako), whose father had eloped 25 years ago with his mother from the village of Paruthippara, comes back to claim compensation for his father's land which was acquired by the Government for building an airport. Bhargavan (Sreenivasan), an usurer who had illegally acquired that land, tells Balakrishnan Nambiar (Janardanan), Jayan's uncle, that Jayan had come to destroy the family's ancestral home.
