Summary: Binoy (Ashokan), Nassar (Ganesh Kumar), Sudhir (Baiju) & Rajeev (Mahesh) are college-mates & friends who are always chasing girls, intimidating the students & causing trouble. When Binoy forcefully gets inside Anitha's (Saumya) umbrella on a rainy day to cross the road, it gets broadcast on TV. Anitha's fiancé Lalu (Saikumar) misconstrues the event & cancels their wedding. Angered at Binoy, Anitha sets out to wreck revenge on him, which was the start of a string of troubles for Binoy & friends. (by iceblox)

This was one of the many movies which tried to emulate the success model of 'In Harihar Nagar' - 3-4 skirt-chasing youths who tries to woo a girl, gets into trouble with the goons who are after the girl, but ultimately ends up saving the damsel in distress - a formulaic concoction which worked well with the audiences, starting from 1990 and well into the mid '90s. 'Neelakurukkan' is fun to watch, has some comedic moments, and rolls along at a decent pace.
