The mostly-annoying child heroes end up being completely useless, as Hulk solves everything. Works as an alternate future, but one we'll thankfully avoid in the comics. These characters, while interesting at times, really just left me longing for the originals to swoop in and show them how it's done.

Like it or not, there's no way the supposed children of the Avengers can bring the same kind of thrill as the originals; the end result is an insipid and often whiny film that doesn't have the same weight as many of the other Marvel adventures. A definite disappointment.
