Based on a true story, this is one of the very few non-humorous movies I like to view more than once. Even after 7 viewings, it's still exciting. Will they make it to freedom or will they end-up in the hands of evil despots?

Thoroughly blah film. The kids all address their fathers as "Papa" with the accent on the second syllable, which makes this film just a little more ridiculous every time they do it. I remember being thoroughly bored by this when I saw it in the theatre when I was a boy; I kept sneaking out to the lobby to play Gorf
