I get the feeling that I'm all alone in this, but... I liked it much better than the first one. I had a lot of fun (more than I probably should) watching Adams' and Azaria's shenanigans on-screen, even though a lot of the secondary characters plain fell flat. An OK popcorn-flick.

An entertaining follow up to the first, time has moved on, so we're in with the new and almost out with the old, introducing new characters (along with old). It was of course the introduction of Amelia Earhart that carried the film and whilst it was easy watching, it wasn't a touch on the first.

It definitely has its flaws, but Adams is (mostly) easy to like, Stiller is passable, and the plot and historical cameos tick along fast enough that you likely won't notice the fact that there's really nothing of substance here. It's a popcorn movie, for sure, but not an entirely unwelcome or unpleasant one.
