Its certainly different...when I wasn't laughing. Is it a bad film? Yes. Could it be cruel to laugh at a serious art-softcore film like this? Yes. Does viewing it with a dub straight out of cheesy anime from the early 2000s help its cause? No. And yet, even if the over long scenes and portentous dialogue creates a parody of serious erotica by accident, its certainly unique, the first film I've seen closer to the director's style, and in my laughter, its a delight in the film's naive charm.
