For more then half of the movie, I tried to figure out who is conning who, gave it up and enjoyed the movie after having considered all the possibilities. The ending did not come as a surprise but this does not reduce the pleasure I got out of the movie.

If this is the first movie con-artists, then this would provide solid entertainment. I'd seen a ton of them before this, so I wasn't as excited about this.

One of the better con movies. Quite clever and with lots of plot twists shifting around the viewer's loyalty.

Your mind is working at all times in this movie, and I really liked that. The ending was a good one, but it wasn't quite delivered properly and I cannot put my finger on why not. Excellent movie, though.

Nine Queens does for swindlers what Se7en did for serial killers. It glorifies them.

This movie wasn't bad, but if you've already seen Bluffmaster! (2005, India) be prepared for some deja vu: they (Bluffmaster!) ripped off most of this movie.

If you enjoyed 'The Sting' or 'The Usual Suspects' then this is worth watching.

A fun script, well-paced, with two engaging leads that play well off one another, Nine Queens serves as one of the more enjoyable entries into the suspense-thriller canon of movies that make ample use of misdirection, keeping the surprises coming to the very end. The best thing about the film is its seeming joy in displaying such a wide variety of tricks--all through subtle word play and cleverly arranged circumstances.

Deliciously twist-filled, Nine Queens is a clever and satisfying crime caper.

An incredibly fun crime movie, that only gets better as it goes along. Definitely benefits from the lower, more realistic stakes (as opposed to, say, Ocean 11's casino robbery), and the characters are all great.

Cons conning cons who are getting conned,etc. etc.. Predictable plot twist.

Laid-back and clever. Has some interesting comments on humanity, too.
