Summary: Girly Mathew (Nadia Moidu), an effervescent girl from Delhi, comes to the town of Karamalloor to reunite with her grandmother, Kunjoonjamma (Padmini). Kunjoonjamma, living a secluded life, angry at Girly's father Mathews (K.P. Ummer) for having taken away her daughter Manikutty & her granddaughter, & blamed him for her daughter's death, refused to accept Girly at first, but Girly wins her over, & they soon become inseparable.
