At first, I was uncertain about Jordan's choice to isolate the Mouth with close-up cropping, rather than light alone, but it grew on me. The way it fixates on the mechanical motion of the mouth works really well for the piece. Julianne Moore does fine, if a bit overly emotive at times.

It's typical Beckett -- rambling, disjointed, reeking of meaninglessness (or perhaps hyper-endowed with meaning) -- but whereas other entries in the series at least have the benefits of beautiful cinematography to get them through the script, here Beckett's own theatrical limitations prevent anything of that nature. Really, really not worth even the fifteen minutes it requires.
