Summary: Sent to Brazil to retrieve a microfilm containing the names of Frenchmen who assisted the Nazi regime, OSS 117 joins forces with sexy lieutenant Dolores to track down a group of escaped Nazis.
It seems that budget for this sequel was bigger and that shows in overall feel of the film. Story is a bit better too, but sadly, that doesn't help this film to avoid the destiny of the most sequels. Best thing about original film is the character that Dujardin creates. This time our hero aren't misogynist and racist because of ignorance and silliness, but simply because he really IS. Even though this film is entertaining, there is nothing in it, I'll remember or would like to see again.
Although I mostly heard quite the opposite, IMHO this one is not as funny as the first film, but still quite good. Jean Dujardin's performance is awesome again and the hospital chase is my absolute favourite!
A step down from the first film, mainly because this time the brunt of the humor came from OSS's lack of subtlety, and there was less room for sight gags, spy movie parodies and general wackiness. It still has a fun atmosphere and Dujardin is once more a charming sleazeball, but it felt a bit more mean and rude all-over.
Pretty silly and quite funny. Didn't think it was as good as the first OSS 117. The waterfal scene and the hospital scene are hilarious. 'Oui Bill, c'est Hubert.' "Ah Hubert, sucker Hubert, son of a bitch"
