This is a great movie. Absolute fun all the way through.

After watching the brisk moving and very entertaining Ocean's 11 with Pitt and Clooney, this one just seems slow and boring. If you like the rat pack, you may like this one, but stick with the updated version.

I'm normally of the school of thought that thinks that originals are generally better than the remakes. In this case that is false. This movie has it's moments of cleverness and I really prefer this ones ending to the ending of the remake, but the pace of this film slowed to a crawl much too often and often left me bored. If you are a big fan of the Rat Pack you may like it, but otherwise I would suggest you go with the remake.

a pretty solid movie that has a completely different flavor than the remake. no stand out acting, nothing special in writing, but a great kicker for an ending.

This movie has a slow build up but the payoff makes it all worth while. The large ensemble cast looks like they are having a ball. I enjoy the ending, I did not see part of it coming.

It's just not very interesting or entertaining. I actually think Soderbergh's remake is a far superior movie, and to be honest I'm not partciuarly fond of that either.

This film is brutally boring. The first half of the film is completely pointless, just filler with nothing going on. Then they apparently hatch a plan but don't even flesh out the specifics of what each member of their enormous team will be doing. Then they spend 15 minute spraying invisible paint on doorknobs. Then they deviate needlessly from their plan. And then since they didn't plan the getaway at all, things go awry. Waste of time.

Boring, unfunny, unfun drumken brawl of a movie. Plotwise, there's plenty of potential just not pulled off too well. Another rare example of the remake outdoing the original.

A sluggishly-paced offering from the so-called coolest men in America at the time. We're halfway through the film before the planning for the heist even begins, and none of these characters are interesting enough to sustain such a long prologue. Cheap attempts at drama and an unappealing heist dig its grave even more - a clever last-minute twist and winning performances from Sinatra and Davis save this attempted 'embodiment' of cool from the gutter.
