Summary: Christmas and New Year. Three girls between 18 and 20, are hospitalized with cancer. All three of them have serious problems, not just in terms of health, but also in terms of their relationships with their nearest and dearest. The girls find a haven in each other's company, where they are free from the fear of death and loneliness, and a substantial part of the film describes their sense of humor, unrestrained candidness and uncompromising zest for life. I'm not an expert, but the scarfs they are wearing to cover their heads, is that not supposed to indicate they are going through chemotherapy? In that case, why do they still have very visible eye brows? Other than that (if it's even a mistake, I'm not sure, it just occured to me upon watching) it's a pretty good movie, with some actresses that I personally dislike but who performed very well in this movie. It's very heartfelt and very not-subtle in its empassionating ways.
