Mistakes - 1) A character speaks without moving her mouth in a scene in a car. 2) A safety rope is seen attached to a character in a skiing scene. 3) Tyres screech when Bond brakes in car on sand.

Australian Lazenby took a crack at playing the super spy, with mixed results. Many feel this is the best-written of the Bond films and might have been the most famous, had Sean Connery continued with the series. Includes the song "We Have All the Time In the World," sung by Louis Armstrong.

I rate this mostly on the terms of the Bond franchise. How well it functions as a seperate movie I can't really say as I am distracted by the new Bond (Lazenby) who despite bringing something different to the screen was gone just as quickly. This leaves things a little disjointed and undecided on what potential he had as the new Bond and thus it almost creates an odd-one-out impression.

A surprise gem in the franchise's history, this film represents, as do so many bond films, a rough diamond. Although there is, as always some shockingly cheesy dialogue, the overall result is thoroughly worth watching. Perhaps George Lazenby would have become a favorite if he had done more films?

Other than Casino Royale, easily the most mature James Bond film. Bond, in a way that no other film (except the aforementioned Casino Royale) is characterized with depth and complexity, In this film, Bond is not simply 007, he is a human, which is always a breath of fresh air in an action film. Of course, the action is handled very well, especially in the last 30 minutes, but it is the depth that truly makes the movie. Too bad that George Lazenby is easily the weakest Bond to date.

Yes, Lazenby is wooden, but he suits the role physically, and everything else is excellent.

I'm not a Bond fan at all, in fact I despise most of the Bond films. This one has a slightly different feel to it, which makes it an interesting if not particuarly great watch. Lazenby didn't make a particuarly good Bond however.

Arguably the greatest James Bond novel by Ian Fleming remains one of my top ranked Bond films! I admire the scenery, which is elevated & exemplified by exceptionally impressive cinematography. I have always appreciated George Lazenby's subtle style approach in portraying James Bond. The film perfectly balances between a powerful storyline, deep characterization, & thrilling action. I'm quite fond of the scenes at the Alps: Breathtaking & overwhelmingly comforting to watch & thoroughly enjoy.

I did not enjoy George Lazenby as Bond. The best scene in this movie was the cold ending. There are numerous better Bond films then this one.
