Good idea and the movie has its moments, but too little fighting and a weak script makes it too slow.

Tony Jaa is crazy talented. I didn't enjoy some of the editing, the double takes were pretty distracting. Also, the last fight had some terrible stunt double work for the opponent. I just kept starring at the guys wig shaking the Tony crushes his head in. That took away from what was otherwise a very nicely choreographed film. Still immensely entertaining.

Tony Jaa has the most amazing fighting skills I have ever seen. This movie is so intense, but when the words are dubbed in english it takes away from the film because it makes the acting look horrible. Overall, the action scenes make up for it.

Story is kind of dumb, but the action kicks ass...for most of it. Eventually his double flying knee attack gets kind of old, and really...how many different obstacles can actually be in someones way as he sprints?

A fresh take on martial-arts films; the music is intense, the action fast and the plot actually makes a bit of sense. What's most important, techniques used in fighting scenes are often quite different from what we got used to by the industry monopolized by China, and even though very effective, done mostly without special effects of any sorts.

A pure martial arts movie, built around the not inconsiderable joy of admiring Tony Jaa's fifty different ways of kicking a man in the face.

Oh, if I could navigate boxes, tables, chicken coops, pickled fish barrels, and other wooden props like Tony Jaa could, I'd be a hero...and then I'd knee your jaw.
