Kind of like "Princess Mononoke" and "Inu Yasha" - if you like those, you might like this one all right. I wouldn't compare this too much to Miyazaki's work though because it's not quite that caliber. Okay overall, but I thought the story was somewhat predicatable and the climax was pretty weak.

The epic opening battle is probably this movies finest moment, & is indicative of what is good about the rest of the film. The animation & design is wonderful, with the battles imaginative & fun. Unfortunately where this film is completely let down is by the very average story & poorly constructed plot. Things happen without reason & characters appear, then disappear without any development or cause. Some of the soundtrack choices are questionable at best also! A visual treat, but little else.
