Summary: Nandu (Mohanlal), smitten with Seetha (Poornima Jayaram), seeks her hand in marriage & they get engaged. 3 days before their wedding, Nandu gets killed in a motorcycle accident, leaving Seetha devastated. Tragedy strikes again when Seetha's elder sister Nirmala (Seema) suffers a miscarriage & eventually, total paralysis.
