Shadows of Happiness (The Midsummer Child is acutally a working title...) was about non-fertility, motherhood and the reaction of society for couples without kids. Kinnunen, Ahlrooth and time after time Lymi were good actors, but the story was pretty anemic. Härkönen's script was dealing important theme, but the director couldn't breath any spirit into it, nor in any proper character directing. Check instead Lapsia ja aikuisia; it's not perfect but much better than this one.
