Summary: Three struggling friends - Pavithran (Jayaram), a Hindu, Jimmy (Siddique), a Christian & Basheer (Jagathi Sreekumar), a Muslim, separately come to the Thripathoor palace in response to an ad calling for eligible Kshatriya bachelors to be adopted by Rajashekara Varma (Narendra Prasad) & wife Lakshmi (Jayabharati) of Thripathoor.
