A film that really touches on the Japanese kamikaze pilots first and foremost as human beings. No one is really vilified, which results in more true and honest emotions. What little problems I felt the film had seemed to vanish by the latter half of the film.

When I popped this into the DVD-player, I didnt' know what to expect as it's a movie about the japanese army/airforce made by japanese. Well, get ready for a long ride, the movie is more than 2 hours, but I found it worth it. It's intriguing to get an insight of the japanese culture at that time. Whether you agree or disagree with what is shown is up to yourself. At times the movie progesses very slow, but there's always a 'twist' at the corner. Not a brilliant flic, but I found it fascinating.
