Summary: Venugopalakrishnan aka Venu (Mukesh), a young man, is forced to don the disguise of a 60-year old retired colonel after he is falsely accused of kidnapping heiress Gopika Varma (Madhoo) & mistaken to be a criminal gang leader. In his disguise as colonel R.K. Nair, he gets close to Gopika with the intention of clearing Venu's name, but Gopika sees through the disguise eventually, & although she doesn't get angry about it, decides to turn the tables on him.
