Summary: Mathu Pandaram (Mohanlal), a drifter from Ochira, moves into a small hamlet & starts a door-to-door hawking which brings him close to the womenfolk. A serial womanizer, he knocks up his pal & neighbor Narayanan's (Nedumudi Venu) wife Gomathiyamma (Seema). Gomathiyamma confesses to her mistake & Narayanan brings up the child from that affair, Kuttappan, as his own. But Kuttappan (Mohanlal) turns out to be a replica of Pandaram in looks & this causes him humiliation while growing up & as an adult. (by iceblox)
