Summary: Nandagopal aka Nandu (Narein) gets sent by his uncle Shankaran Nair (Janardanan) to the village of Kalimuthuppalayam in Tamil Nadu to sell Nandu's father's house & after some initial failed attempts at selling it, Nandu decides to stay on & brings his mother & sister to live with him. He gets into a quarrel with a local bigwig & criminal Nachiappa (Rama Reddy), who starts to make life difficult for Nandu. After several instances of defeat & humiliation, his mother demands that Nandu fight back. (by iceblox)
