Summary: Pappan (Rahman), a famous singer, gets killed by his rival Umesh (Jose), a week before his wedding to his girlfriend Zarina (Lizy). However, it turned out that Yama (Thilakan), the Lord of death, took Pappan's life mistaking him for someone else & that he had a week more to live. Yama gives Pappan different freshly-dead bodies to try on till then & finally Pappan settles for Devadas (Mohanlal), a cop killed in action. Now, as Devadas, Pappan has to prove his death & bring Umesh to justice. (by iceblox)
