Summary: Gauri (Vidya), a +2 student is raised by her struggling laundress single mother Madhavi (Kalaranjini), with the hopes of making Gauri a doctor one day. However, circumstances cause Gauri to have an brief fling with a much married man, Chandran (Biju Menon), after which Gauri gets besotted with him & ends up ruining both their & their families' lives beyond repair.
