while buster may be a bit out of his element here, MGM taking the reigns from buster actually pumped out a pretty good movie this time around. it might not include any side splitting laughs or awe inspiring stunts, but it's a fine comedy.

Romantic farce based on a stage-play. The only reason to watch it is, of course, Buster Keaton. Talkies he acted in never came even close to his own silent masterpieces, but I simply can't get enough of him. Dialogs in this film are witty, and often really funny, but physical comedy doesn't work that well in sound films. All in all, it's entertaining film, but in the end it gets too absurd.
