Oh my goodness what a predictable plot. However, I only watched it because of Karl Urban, so I didn't mind that much.

You probably didn't know this, but orcs and elves are really analogies of deeper real world conflicts--namely, the bloody war between the Native Americans and the Vikings. This film provides stunning social commentary that dabbles with very intellectual things like... irony (see, the vikings call the Native Americans savages, but who's REALLY the savage here? [hint: it's the vikings]), high-speed chases on sleds, and two dozen Native Americans jumping into a hole filled with spikes. ("Noooo!")

Some of the worst accents in film ever

Dreadful. Whoever was in charge of the lighting on this movie needs to be crucified. This movie literally hurt my eyes trying to focus on under lit scenes followed by the occasional burst of light. What you can see also follows that modern movie trend of putting a teal and orange filter over everything as well. Everything else is either stolen from another movie (Conan, Braveheart, Dances with Wolves, Rambo) or completely incompetent.

Fairly horrible ugh!-sploitation by schlock-director Nispel. You would think that the Vikings vs. Indians idea was a concept even a comatose monkey with a typewriter could make work on some level, but ... here we are...

it's one of "those" films...

A movie with no clear audience.

Done in similiar way to Snyder's "300" but this is even worse in every aspect. Cheesy cliche-filled camp-fest cornball.

While not terrible, Pathfinder does little to distinguish itself from the heap of action epics that have released in the last few years. It has some legitmately good visuals and costume design but it's greatly hampered by the weak acting and all-too-often action sequences that sort of just spring out of nowhere.

Way more awesome than I had been led to believe.

In this third installment of the action franchise, agent Augustus Gibbons (Russell Means) recruits a new xXx in Karl Urban (replacing Vin Diesel and Ice Cube). Urban snowboards to victory over the vile Viking terrorists, leading his savage native people to happiness and such.

Some decent action sequences (shield snowboarding was pretty retarded though), some good cinematography here and there (it is not the norm for the film however), the acting is spotty to say the least with some of it being decent to some of it being pretty bad. It's not a good film really but it's not the absolute catastrophe that it's been made out to be either.

I just thought it could have been better. I did enjoy it, but the indians were simply portrayed as dimwits, and I don't buy that. Different, yes, inexperienced even, but not dim. Still, the idea is interesting and it's a good action flick. But it really could have been better...

Very underrated cause of the bad acting. The story is pretty cool and I watched it more than twice already.

Vikings vs Native Americans sounds like a throwback to the big, dumb, fun action movies of years past, but in the hands of such a soulless lead and a director obsessed with the same filmmaking techniques that have left action movies sputtering on the fumes of adrenaline for much of the last decade, it turns out to be a massive, epic turd.

It looked as if they edited this one to death.

Vikings, aliens? What's not to love. Well, a lot as it turns out. An interesting premise that flounders due to budget, muddy plot, and poor acting.
