Good idea with an unpretentious style, except stereotype leading characters.

Beautiful, peotic allegory. Dense emotionally, but too light on actual content.

A very emotional experience, if you're willing to not think too much about the plot and accept the film as a simple love story with an extraordinary setting.

Good for young or slow people.
Younglings; you don't know a thing so this is interesting for you.
Slow metabolized people; You didn't read, watched enough, so this movie is still interesting for you.
Geeks; Stay away!

There seem to be a lot of apocalyptic movies about lately. This one has a different take, and although I don't like McGregor and Eva Green too much, I did enjoy watching this.

Interesting idea, and a refreshingly different take on the disaster film. The major weakness is the main characters, who are not likeable and have no chemistry together.

Despite its predictability David Mackenzie's film is truly affecting, thanks in no small part to the excellent score, and montage/voiceover sequences which offer a chance to step away from the protagonists and imagine the effects of a terrible affliction on humanity, and indeed yourself. The leads' performances are decent as is the overall staging of the mini-apocalypse, allowing Mackenzie to slice straight into the emotional core without the needs for subplots or banal details. A fine film.

Like every obnoxious filth that hasn't the slightest idea of how to treat its rather neat concept, deceives its audience into thinking it's internalizing something profound through a series of hokey tantrums, ponderous soliloquies and stilted dialogues. I must've lost complete interest around the time Eva Green and some lady started devouring their own toothpaste and lipstick, respectively; At least I think that was toothpaste... I'm so confused right now..

The sci-fi idea was intrigue, but I did not find much of chemistry between leads and I'm not a big fan of Ewan McGregor. Eve Green was as shiny as always. The director then again did not handle all the situations as he should. But yes. We are prisoners of our senses. You better enjoy what you've got.

Pretty emotionally dense for 90 minutes. Still, Perfect Sense runs the gambit of emotions and does so in pretty unique (and sometimes funny) ways. Green outshines McGregor, but the acting is strong all around. A beautiful film in spite of its brevity.
