While I was not smitten with the first hour or so (felt much like a standard Bollywood film to me), the last hour really shines through increased character depth, better songs and some incredible cinematography. The ending to this is like the ending to Saawariya or Om Shanti Om, which leaves a very bitter (but not unsatisfying) taste in your mouth. Basically, while technically proficient with moments of brilliance, some elements drag more than a film of this caliber should.
