Summary: An alcoholic is returning home from a night of partying and encounters the homeless Pink Panther in a park. He invites the panther to come and stay with him. But he has a wife who disapproves of him bringing in any guests. So, he has to keep the Pink Panther hidden, which tends to be rather painful for the hapless panther. (imdb)

A decent premise, but the actual gags are all short and simple, with the mute Pink Panther and dullard wife having mildly amusing interactions at best. Watchable, especially for kids, but nothing more.

Moments of interest and -- gasp! -- actual laughs abound in Pickled Pink, which goes to a place we've all been. It could well be the strongest of the Panthers, though that's somewhat faint praise.

The special guest appearance of Mel Blanc as the entire voice cast does not improve matters; it merely makes this particular entry in the series suck in a different way. The woman in this toon, therefore, sounds like Yosemite Sam
