Summary: A group of Polish officers liberated from POW camps stopped in the deserted German village. He remained there only a doctor, Dr. Rhode, and her three daughters: the eldest, Inga was raped by marauding through the city laggards. Psychological study of moral attitudes: in the face of all the tragedies caused by the Germans, the Poles did not commit treason, referring to their friendship, or the first step to recovery is the freedom of disposal of a contempt and hatred.
