Laugh-out-loud funny. Contradicting itself plot-wise throughout, horrible acting, terrible special effects and a very cheesy voice-over make this a great experience if you don't take it seriously.

So bad it's good. But it's still really bad. This gets like an 85 though if I'm watching it with the rifftrax commentary.

Get ready for some of the worst acting, writing, directing, production design you'll ever see, yet, this film is strangely endearing. I've seen some great films lately, so it's nice to sit back and enjoy a film that doesn't require a lot of attention. So bad it's good ? Seems about right, now there's nothing to recommend (from an objective standpoint), but I think you should see it at least once.

Worst movie ever made, they say. Well. They couldn't have anticipated STAR WARS: Episode 1, so at the time it was a fair candidate. Nowadays you have this cult following, insisting that the Ed Woods films are great fun, but really they're deluding themselves. What makes Ed Wood so bad, is mainly the fact that his movies really _are_ insanely boring.

I would say it's the biggest waste of time on celluloid, but it's so damn entertaining.

With so many mistakes, strange details and scenes gone 'wrong' it's one of best bad movies. A must watch just to realize it's terrible.

This is so funny! It's so bad that it's almost good. I loved the scenes with Vampira and where you can see the thread the UFO was hanging on :D

"So bad it's good". Despite most of the WORLD hating this film, I always figured that had it been done with some real care and interest, rather than slapped together, it could have been great. One of those films that could have been so much more....

It was a pretty terrible movie, but it was winsome.

Incredibly disappointing. I was expecting the worst movie ever made and was pleasantly surprised to find something with some charm that was, at times, unintentionally hilarious. I have to say though that the aliens were incredibly uncreative, but you could blame it on the budget. Some scenes were really terrible but it wasn't a total waste of time. Ending is delightfully terrible: "can you prove this really didn't happen?" lol

It has earned its reputation.

Don't let the rating fool you - I absolutely adore this movie, but I cannot in good conscience give it a high rating. Woefully awful in every possible way? Absolutely. But this is pretty much the Godfather of unintentional comedy.

Simultaneously the best movie ever and the worst movie ever.

With or without the aid of MST3k (or even the Burton treatment) it can be quite fun.

Although this is considered "the worst movie of all time" I actually like it. Sure it lacks budget, talented actors and attention to detail. But it is fun, it makes it's point as a sci-fi movie, and it has a lot of heart behind it. at the end of the day, what more could you ask for from a 1959 horror/sci -fi. I don't think it's as bad a The Love Guru.

A Cult classic for any Misfits fan, this one is pretty bad.
