Summary: During the Civil War in a port town lyric parties are organized where two local lyric poets Orlovsky and Tarasov are starring. When they are involved in the Civil War events Orlovsky joins the White Guards movement, and Tarasov fights on the side of the Reds (Red Army). Having been enlisted in Kotovsky’s cavalry, he takes part in liberation of the town. Here he falls in love with Olya Danilova. (Mosfilm)
