Summary: Police Commissioner Mohamed Maideen Khan (Napoleon) is on the task of cleaning up Chennai mafia, of which the two prominent & warring gangs are Alibhai's (Prakash Raj), of which Tamizh (Vijay), a goon who does anything for money, is a part of & Narasimhan's. Tamizh's lover Shruthi (Asin), an aerobics instructor, is accosted by corrupt cop Govindan (Mukesh Tiwari), who is on Alibhai's payroll, & asked to be his mistress failing which, he would defame her family. Tamizh sets out to protect her.
