Summary: Surya (Prithviraj) falls in love City Police Commissioner Rajendra Babu's (Siddique) daughter Ashwathy (Shriya), but Rajendra Babu had his own plans to marry Ashwathy off to Maheendran (Riyaz Khan), the state Home Minister's son, to further advance his police career. Rajendra Babu frames Surya in a fabricated drug case & gets him arrested, causing Surya's father, ex-teacher Madhavan Nair (Nedumudi Venu), to go looking for his long-gone, elder estranged son Raja (Mammootty), to save the day.
