A typically funny Chaplin short. Not among his very best but still worthwile.

Here Chaplin plays an ex-con that gets caught up in a robbery scheme. It would have played better had it been clearer throughout that he was an unwilling participant, but as it is, you just keep waiting for him to get caught and/or get out of the house he's burglarizing. Not a good desire for the audience to have in a film that's supposed to be funny.
