I come for action and humour.

Average Chan for an average sort of day.

Very cheesy, but good comedic fighting and action.

dug the ice water scene. :o movie was not really that thrilling. well, maybe two or three of the action scenes, but that's it.

Impressive and unexpected. The coolest stunts I've seen from Jackie and the ladder fight was awesome.

Tried pretty hard to be Bondish with different locales etc, but the fight scenes are mostly subpar. Still Chan is charming with his humor and there are one or two fights/stunts.

this is when the franchise really started to get hollywood-ized, but i don't really mind. it has one of jackie's very best prop fights, second only to the warehouse fight in rumble in the bronx. and a koala.

Chan ("This guy can move like a monkey!") and his weapons of convenience: folding table, aluminum ladder, broom, umbrellas, stilts. A cheerful and cheesy James Bond spoof -- ski chase from _On Her Majesty's Secret Service_, man-eating shark and underwater combat from _Thunderball_ -- that takes our likable hero to the Ukraine ("Package for Alexander Nevsky!") and Australia.

Also known in the U.S. as "Jackie Chan's First Strike". I love it. It has Jackie scaling the outside of a hotel to escape 7-foot tall Nathan Jones, Jackie with a koala pal, and skiing. And sharks. And fighting with a ladder. It's frigging awesome. This is sort of required viewing if you like Jackie Chan.

Okay, okay, enough already

A James Bond-style entry into the Police Story series, with Jackie skiing on snowy mountain and later having fights in Australia involving shark tanks and koala bears! It has a lightning pace and several inventive action scenes, especially the one with Jackie swinging around a makeshift ladder. There is little story, unlike the first two PS films, and the fights aren't THAT spectacular (Jackie was already 42), but it's exciting throughout, and has Jackie's trademark comedy. A good film.

It's a pretty entertaining movie as far as the action goes but the main problem is that the story (at least in the English dub) is completely incoherent. It's not a very fun movie to watch now, as a result.

It's a Jackie Chan movie. That really says it all, but in case you don't know, that means it's a lighthearted action-adventure-thriller that doesn't impress too much in the story or acting, but when Jackie starts fighting and doing stunts the screen comes alive with spectacular energy. Jackie wields a full-sized ladder as a melee weapon in this movie. I think that speaks for itself.
