Steve finds that Rockwell Falls, considered by the locals as the most perfect place on Earth, has the same population since 1860... (imdb)

A reasonably good Horror/Thriller that shares many similarities to Shirley Jackson's short story 'The Lottrey' but is still pretty good on its own, and definitley one of the better low budget and unknown Horror films I've seen. Jeremy Sisto is very believable as Steve who is soon trapped in a rather mysterious town. Its fairly slow moving but it does hold your attention as you try to work out whats going on. Camera angles and editing was a little sloppy. Overall not bad and still worth a look.

It's good but it could've been much better. The acting was alright, with special note of Fred Durst making his supporting acting role debut (and he's actually alright!). I thought the general story was pretty neat but the ending was kind of eye-rolling though (HUGE SEMI-TRUCK OUT OF NOWHERE? Please). It could've used a bit of a better lead actor, the soundtrack was poor and, like the general film, it could've been more suble in the scares.
