Summary: Ramamurthy (Prem Nazir), a mild middle aged Brahmin comes to Kannur to stay with Balu (Balachandra Menon), a medical rep, to try his luck in becoming one himself. Things doesn't go well for Ramamurthy, & just when he was about to give up, Sujatha (Jayabharati), a friendly doctor, comes to his aid & boosts his spirits. Ramamurthy becomes attracted towards Sujatha but kept it to himself. Sujatha's uncle (Thilakan), meanwhile, tries to get her married to his London-return son, Mohan (Lalu Alex). (by iceblox)
