It's not nearly as good as its predecessor- and it quite frankly wouldn't have taken a whole lot to live up to the first Predator. The whole thing felt rushed, the plot was disjointed, and the direction was hit-or-miss. The action sequences were all right, but what could have been one of the best ones was ruined by an awful strobe light effect. Danny Glover is all right, though I kept having flashbacks to Lethal Weapon. Most disappointing was that Paxton didn't get enough screentime.

A barely tolerable sequel to the original action classic, the reason why I even give it a 60 is because at least they didn't screw up the Predator, and added some cool new gadgets. Though I guess it loses points because there would be no Alien vs Predator if it wasn't for this movie.

It is in almost no way related to Predator, which is strange for a sequel. It manages to replace all of Predator's silly, cliché jungle action scenes with...silly cliché city action scenes. Danny Glover is entertaining, though, and I quite like the ending. Little else is worthy of merit, however. Superior to the first film, but still not great.

The acting was awful, too much whining and fooling around, and when the alienthing got slashed, it was shaking its head like he was starring in a shampoo commercial. Laughably bad

So ridiculous it's downright comedic in parts. I'm still laughing to myself at the fact that Danny Glover wields a Desert Eagle pistol with a rifle scope on it. With that said the characters are all oozing over the top cliche, which isn't a good thing when you're supposed to be actually afraid. Unlike the relatively slow but increasingly suspenseful original film this blasts you right into action and the predator. It doesn't really work and thenOH HAY it's Adam Baldwin, awesome!

This doesn't deserve nearly half the hate that it gets. The predator effects are well done and putting this in a future urban environment is interesting. The dialog dragged though but there are a few memorable lines. I suppose people were just universally disappointed in the lack of Arnie but this isn't a bad action movie at all.
